Why chemical filter free sun protection is best.
The difference between physical and chemical sunscreen. Chemical sun screen absorbs into the skin and then absorbs UV rays, converts the rays into heat, and releases them from the body. The most common sunscreens on the market contain chemical filters. These products typically include a combination of two to six of the following active ingredients: oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate and octinoxate. Mineral, vegan, organic and all natural sun screens should contain zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide as the main ingredients for sun protection.
Protect your skin from harmful chemicals and remember to re-apply.
